SVG is a way to embed vector graphics on a Web page.

Thanks to increased support in modern browsers, SVG popularity is growing more and more.

On the other hand, this does nothing to help older versions of IE, which do not support this image format.

SVG-Swap works only for older IE versions, where SVG is not supported, replacing inline SVGs with a rasterized version of the image in GIF, PNG, or other bitmap format.

Adding SVG-Swap to a page is not complicated at all. Just add the "data-svgswap" attribute to any image tag.

A small demo is included with the SVG-Swap package.
